  96. load the file COMMENTS.TXT as an
  97. ASCII text file.  Each comment can
  98. be no longer than 36 characters.
  99. Lines longer than 36 are truncated
  100. when the file loads into MTG.  Be
  101. absolutely certain not to use any
  102. special formatting commands that are
  103. particular to your word processor,
  104. e.g. margin settings, underscores,
  105. tab settings, etc. -- just ASCII
  106. text.  Only the first 120 lines in
  107. the comment file are used, so any
  108. comments added beyond line #120 are
  109. ignored (but you could store extra
  110. comments after #120, and swap them
  111. in with your word processor when
  112. needed).  Check your spelling care-
  113. fully (these reports are going home
  114. folks!), and then save the file as
  115. an ASCII text file, using the same
  116. name: COMMENTS.TXT.  Do NOT save
  117. the file as an ordinary word pro-
  118. cessing file -- a Word Perfect file
  119. for example, will be ignored by MTG
  120. because of the different extension.
